2021 Ti22 Performance / FAST on Dirt Finalized Schedule

2 min read

The new race season is just 2 months away from opening night at Waynesfield Raceway Park on March 27th. The officials from the Ti22 Performance FAST series have been busy preparing for the 2021 tour and some small changes have taken place in scheduling.

The Saturday, April 24th event at Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio has been removed from the schedule. Also, the May 1st event at Fremont Speedway had to be removed due to a scheduling conflict. Four other events at Fremont are still on as previously announced. Finally, the TBA date of Saturday, September 4th has been filled at I-96 Speedway to complete a great 3 day sprint car extravaganza with Hartford Motor Speedway, I-96 Speedway and a Sunday finale at Waynesfield Raceway Park.

The new standard purse for FAST events will pay the following: 3000, 1500, 1000, 700, 600, 550, 500, 475, 450, 425, 400, 390, 380, 370, 360, 350, 350, 350, 350. We are working to renew our heat race and bonus award sponsorships for the new year. Teams will still earn heat race cash for the top 4 paying 40, 30, 20, 10. Several bonus awards will pay $50 cash along with some product awards.

With help from Ti22 Performance, All Star Performance and Hoosier Racing Tire Midwest, the FAST tour champion will take home $10,000 of a $32,500 point fund that will spread across the top 10 in the final standings. Drivers must compete in 75% of completed events to be eligible for the fund. As is tradition, there will be one “drop” for teams to throw out their worst night.

The “tow bonus” is still in effect for full time teams and will now guarantee a minimum $400 to start or $150 if you miss the main event. The first 3 events will go off 2020 final point standings (top 4 eligible) but after event number 3, it will go off of current 2021 points and will include the top 10 in points.
