Be sure to come on out to the Ohio Valley Speedway in Lubeck, WV this Friday Night, July 23rd for another Family Fun Night at the Speedway as the track will play host to the Toys for Tots ‘Christmas in July’. Ohio Valley Speedway will welcome Santa to town once again this Friday Night with another fantastic night of short track racing on his ‘nice’ list as the Ohio Valley Speedway is pleased to partner up once again with the Toys for Tots team for the 3rd Annual Christmas in July event.

The Toys for Tots organization provides service to many different agencies in the Mid-Ohio Valley as part of its commitment to collecting new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. They currently provide gifts to over 4000 children in Wood, Wirt, Jackson and Washington Counties and have several fundraisers throughout the year which helps with awareness and toy collection that helps fill up a large warehouse that stores all the toys they collect throughout the year. Race fans are encouraged to bring new and unwrapped toys to the Speedway on Friday Night to be entered into a drawing for a chance at FREE race tickets and the fan that brings the most toys will receive a FREE general admission pass for the remainder of the season. The more toys you bring the more chances you have to win! For the racers, whichever driver brings the most toys will receive a FREE Pit Pass for the remainder of the season. So fans and racers lets get those toys to the Valley and support our local Toys for Tots Foundation and help give those kids a Christmas to remember!

Not only will Christmas lights and holiday cheer be spread throughout the Ohio Valley Speedway on Friday Night but Santa Claus and the Grinch will also be on hand to celebrate Christmas early this year. Along with the nightly 50/50 drawing by the Toys for Tots gang our annual ‘Snowball’ fight at intermission with the management and staff of the Ohio Valley Speedway will also help raise funds on the festive evening.

A complete night of edge of your seat racing action is also on the card featuring the Las Trancas Super Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Pike Street Lanes Sportmods, Bill’s Auto Salvage 4 Cylinders and Mike’s Auto Body WRA Mini Wedges.

Gates will open at 4pm, with the kids Mini Wedges beginning at 6:00pm, Hotlaps/Qualifying getting underway at 7:00pm. General admission is $15 with children 10 and under FREE while pit prices are $30 with kids 5 and under FREE. A full concession stand will be available for fans dining pleasure, featuring your favorite racetrack staples including Pizza Sub, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs w/Sauce, Cheesesticks, Fries, Nachos and much more! Plus quench your thirst with your favorite Pepsi products along with our ‘famous’ Sweet Tea!
