STRONGSTOWN, PA (August 10, 2021) – Drivers and fans you have asked and first year promoters Mark McClellan and Kyle Smith have heard your request. This Friday, August 13, Dog Hollow Speedway will host the Pure/Strictly Stock Challenge. The 20-lap race will pay $500 to winner. It will be a Your Track Rules race. Our RUSH Stock Cars will compete also.

Every week we’ve been asked to have a race for the Pure Stocks as many drivers have stated they miss racing at Dog Hollow.

“We are committed to making the AMSOIL/Ron’s Collision Center RUSH Stock Car class grow. A lot of drivers have asked us to please run a race for them. So, we decided we would run them this week,” Smith said.

The racing card for this week will include the MCS Super Late Models, Townsend Gas & Oil RUSH Late Models, Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinders along with the Super 6 Late Models.

The MCS Super Late Models has only had one repeat winner in eight races. Chad McClellan is the only chauffer to do that in his potent Ford powered machine. Other winners this season are Clint Hersh, Ryan Montgomery, Billy Eash, Michael Lake, Max Blair and Joe Petyak.

The Townsend Gas & Oil RUSH Late Models has been dominated by Punxy driver Joe Martin and Linden, VA driver Kyle Hardy. Both have four wins each. The only other driver to break into victory lane is Michael Duritsky.

Cody Young is the driver to beat in the Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinders, Young has won three straight and four total so far. The only other driver to repeat is teammate Mike Phillipson. There has been six winners in ten races. Other pilots taking wins this season are Dylan Young, Colton St. John, Rob Williams and Ashton Daughenbaugh.

The Super 6 Late Models will make their second visit of the season. Last time out RUSH Crate driver Michael Duritsky filled in and picked up the win.
