The Fans of Latrobe Speedway saw 3 Divisions have back to back wins in the Features, Crate Late Model driver John Over, E-Mod drive “Rollin” Nolan Dalton and 4 Cyl driver Dylan Burkett. The warmer than expected evening start with Hot Lap then exciting rounds of heat racing that yield a few fort time hey winners.

First Division to take the Track was Pure Stocks. The 9 of Shawn McGinnis sat in P1 with the 22f of Cory Ferris to his outside. As they came down to the green flag it did not take long for the 22f of Farris to jump out to an early lead but the 3 of Justin Ruff, 969 of Steven Hazlett and the 32 of Ron Ramsey would all give the 22f Farris a run for his money. Those 4 cars would jockey for position for the first 6 laps of the Race. The 100 of Anthony Monaparte would start in 7th, As he methodically started his way through the field, the 969 of Hazlett and the 100 of Monaparte got tangled in turn one that saw the 969 of Hazlett’s evening come to an end. Each week the 969 of Hazlett had shown his presence in the top three. On the restart the 22f lead the rest of the way to Denny Carson Checkered Flag. 1st Corey Farris, 2nd Justin Ruff, 3rd John Hollis, 4th Ron Ramsey 5th 100 Anthony Monaparte 6th 9 Shawn McGinnis, 7th 3z Jim Zufall 8th Jason Morrison, 969 Steven Hazlett, 18 Shawn Hollis, 8c Brandon Doland, 97 Mike Peters. Heat Winners 100 Monaparte, 32 Ramsey.

2nd Feature of the night belonged to the Crate Late Models. With back to back wins the K2 has proven to own a good set-up for Latrobe Speedway. The 11 of Shields sat in P1 with the K2 of John Over to his outside. As the 11 of Shields and the K2 of Over brought the field down to the green flag of Carson, it was the 11 of Shields that won the drag race to the first turn. After a restart for a caution the K2 of Over eventually got around the 11 of Shields to lead the rest of the race. The action behind them heated up with every lap as the 21m of Micheal Ott, 14 of Braden Dillenger and the 55 of Marino Angellichio all moved up from their starting postions. 1st K2 John Over, 2nd 11 Troy Shields, 3rd 21m Michael Ott, 4th Braden Dillenger, 5th 55 Marino Angellichio, 6th 28H Clate Copeman 7th 90j Michael Duritsky 8th 28s Bob Swartzmiller 9th 33k Andrew Koenig, 6 Chuck Recker, 7 Rob Lyons, 11f Ryan Frazee, 11L Jeff Ferguson, 61 Vince Masi. In the Third spot and racing for the biggest 4 Cyl. Purse so far this Season the 4 Cyl lined up for battle, the 210 of Dylan Burkett sat in the pole with the 418 of Tyler Laughard to his outside. As the field started into turn one the cautions came out. In the Restart the 418 of Laughard would find the front of the field. After just a few laps the 418 of Laughard started to pull away from the rest of the field. After a few more restarts the 210 of Burkett was able to keep the 418 of Laughard in his sights. With a handful of laps left the 418 of Laughard went into turn three carrying good speed but came out of turn four limping with a broken rear axle, with the 210 of Burkett right there for the pounce he took over the lead and did not look back sailing to the biggest purse of his racing career. Three of the biggest highlights happened further back in the pack with the 66 of Dale Grubbs starting P8 finishing 2nd, the 62 of Jeremy Grubbs starting P14 finishing 3rd lastly the 77 of David Needham starting P16 finishing 4th. The 47 of Mike Pavlik took a bad multi barrel roll in the middle of three and four. Spoke with Mike today and he is a bit sore but in good spirts, can not say that about his car. Mike said he build another car and will be in action soon. 1st Dylan Burkett 2nd Dale Grubbs 3rd Jeremy Grubbs 4th 77 David Needham 5th Jeff Vasos 6th 24 Tiffany McElhose 7th 39 Brian Noel 8th 307 Brandon Meyers 9th 90 Wyatt Piper 10th 51 Colten McNaney 11th 18 Alexis Strouse 12th 3K Jason Rittenour 13th 38 Adam Jones 14th 513 Andrew Jones, 418 Tyler Laughard, 64 Josh Grubbs, 48 Paul Koffler III, 89 Shawn Ghrist, 19h Tylar Huffman, 47 Mike Pavlik. 4th in the Line up, Pro Stocks.
Sitting in P1 the 4 of Brett Hutira with the 47 of Cam Kraisinger to his outside. Riddled with cautions and restarts once the dust settled the 47 of Kraisinger found himself out front with the 25 of Brett McDonald putting pressure with each lap but fell short when the Checkered Flag dropped. 1st 47 Cam Kraisinger 2nd Brett McDonald 3rd 49 Steve Mitchell 4th 73 Bill Pluto 5th 4 Brett Hutira 6th 87 Jake Weyer 7th Joe Kelley 8th 08 Jeff Broniszewski Heat Winner 66 Kelley. Unfortunately the rough streak of the 79 Tommy Dembowski continues to rain down on that team. Blown motor takes the 79 out during his heat race.

5th and Final Feature of the Night belonged to the E-Mods. The 97 of of Mitch Thomas started the feature in P1 with the 32 of Alan Athinson to his outside. The 97 of Thomas and the 32 of Athinson had a drag race to the green flag to start the race. Again after a couple cautions the D2 of Dalton and the T2 of Hauger that started the race in P6 and P7 respectively started their decent to the front. The 97 of Thomas did his best to keep the D2 of Dalton from back to back wins but the D2 was on a rail and sailed into the checkers. 1st D2 Nolan Dalton 2nd 97 Mitch Thomas 3rd T2 Greg Hauger 4th 32 Alan Athinson 5th 18D Bruce Drieistadt 6th 57s Royce Stanley 7th 1H Tommy Hughes.
