The Steel Block LateModel Series Presented Impact RaceGear had a great night of racing at Atomic Speedway on Saturday night. We had a great field of 17 Steel Block Latemodels on hand to battle it out for the $1,200 to win payday.

Zach Milbee out of Poca, WV driving a Longhorn Chassis made it a clean sweep of the evening by capturing quick time, the fast dash and then the feature event.

Milbee started outside pole position after the redraw with Corey Delancey on the pole. Milbee would jump out to the lead with Delancey, Aaron Carter, and Garet Mcloud in tow. Milbee would continue the lead with Mike Sprouse on move, moving up into the top 3, a few laps later a broken J-bar would make him retire for the evening. Milbee would continue to lead with another caution for Garet McCloud getting into the wall and collecting Vern Lefevers with him. Seth Daniels the modified hot shoe from Jackson Ohio made his debut with the Steel Block LateModel series started to make his move along with Pete Crum out of Little Hocking, Ohio. Milbee would continue to lead with a battle going on behind him, Delancey would start to fad with Daniels and Crum moving up into the top 3, There was a great battle with Delancey, Carter, Daniels, and Crum for the 2nd spot. When the checkered flag flew it was Milbee, Daniels, Crum, Delancey, and Carter rounding out the top 5.
