(Franklin, PA June 26, 2023): On Saturday evening, July 1, Tri-City Raceway Park will celebrate the Independence Day holiday. It will be Fan Appreciation Night with $5 general admission for a four division racing card, plus fireworks!

The Diehl Chevrolet 410 Sprint Cars will be the headline attraction. The Pitt Stop Pub 358 Modifieds will be back in action after a brief respite. The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Pro Stocks will compete, along with the 4 Your Car Connection Four Cylinder Mini Stocks.

Defending track champion, A.J. Flick, owns a pair of wins in the Diehl Chevrolet Sprints, but Bob Felmlee gave him a run for the money the last time they went to the post. Other regional talents, like Jack Sodeman, Jr., and Brandon Spithaler are expected. With other area tracks taking the holiday weekend off, many other racers may be on hand. Plan a trip to the speedway for this special event to see for yourself who can take the top prize.

In the Pitt Stop Pub 358 Modified ranks, young Ayden Cipriano also has a pair of wins. But he will face some stiff competition from the likes of Jimmy Holden, Tom Holden, Chad Reitz, Steve Slater, Eric Beggs, and young guns Austin Eyler and Lenny Liebold.

Teenager Tyler Wyant is as hot as a firecracker, but he will have plenty of veteran challengers, including Hot Rod Laskey, Matt Bernard, Russ Coyne, and Pat Fielding, among others. The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Pro Stocks always present a competitive race, so you will definitely want to see this one!

If you like Hondas, come on out to root on Matt Urey and Levi Maskal, as they are at the top of the standings in the 4 Your Car Connection Mini Stocks. And, if you are not a fan of the brand, you can choose another badge to cheer for! Tyler Ellenberger, Dillon Morrison, Chad Greeley, and recent winner Thomas Warren will be on hand to do battle with the Honda honchos.

The Pit Gates will open at 3 p.m. on July 1 and the spectator gates will follow at 5 p.m. Racing will begin at 7 p.m.

The general admission price will be discounted to just $5, with the exception of children under the age of ten. They will be admitted for free! So take advantage of the fan and family friendly prices to enjoy some hot racing action. And, let’s not forget those fireworks!

Remember that there will be no racing at Tri-City Raceway Park on the following weekend. Instead, on July 8, there will be the Northwestern PA Truck and Tractor Pull. Racing will resume on Sunday, July 16, with the Sunday Thunder program and Christmas in July! Then, on July 23, the FAST on Dirt 410 Sprint Series will compete as part of another Sunday Thunder event.
