Cabin Fever Championships Set for March 28–29 at Shadybowl

DeGRAFF, OH – The 14th Annual Cabin Fever Championships will usher in the 2026 racing season at Shadybowl Speedway on March 28–29 with five divisions of racing set to entertain fans during the early-season showdown.

A full weekend of activity begins with an open practice session on Saturday, March 28 from 2:00–6:00 PM, allowing teams time to prepare for Sunday’s championship program. Sunday, March 29 will feature practice, qualifying, and feature racing to crown the first winners of the season.

The Cabin Fever Championships will mark the first event for the newly rebranded Heartland Racing Association, formerly known as the CRA Late Model Sportsman and Street Stock divisions. The Heartland Racing Association Vore’s Welding Late Models and Street Stocks will headline the program and be joined by the Vore’s Compact Touring Series, Shadybowl Modifieds, and Crown Vics.

Sunday’s feature lineup will include:

Crown Vic – 20 Lap Feature
Vore’s Compact Touring Series “SERVPRO Bowl Classic” – 50 Laps
Vore’s Welding HRA Late Models – 50 Laps
Wooten Automotive & Towing Modifieds – 50 Laps
HRA Street Stocks – 50 Laps

Sunday’s on-track schedule begins with practice at 10:00 AM, followed by qualifying at 12:30 PM, and feature racing at 2:00 PM. Tickets and pit passes will be available for purchase at the track upon arrival.

The Cabin Fever Championships are promoted by Track Enterprises and traditionally serve as one of the Midwest’s earliest competitive racing weekends of the season.
