Sunday FunDay To Kick Off 19th Season at Brushcreek

(Peebles, OH) On June 30th, 2001 the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex opened for its very first race in front of full grandstands! 19 years later the yearly tradition that Thunders through the hills of Adams County, OH during the summer months continues. The heart pounding action of Dirt Track racing has been a mainstay in the small town of Peebles since that day in 2001 and on Sunday April 7th, 2019, we will once again have the excitement in our backyard!

The first event of the 2019 Schedule is the annual Sunday FunDay event which takes place annually on a Sunday Afternoon in Early April. This year, the 4th edition of the event will take place on Sunday April 7th. The stars of Modified, Sport Mod, Legend Car and Enduro Racing action will converge on the 3/10 Mile track to see who can be called the first winner of 2019. Each racing class poses a different style and excitement of racing which will be all capped off by another legendary Enduro Race that everyone has come to know and love.

On April 7th, the pit gates will open at Noon for drivers and crews to get in and begin work on their hot rods. The General Admission bleacher seating will open at 2:00 PM for fans to claim their seat for all the action! Racing will begin at 3:00 PM! Pit Admission Passes will be $30 for All Ages while General Admission Tickets are $15 for Adults with kids 12 and Under being FREE!

The 19th Season of action at the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex will showcase many traditional events along with new events sure to wow fans of all ages! The Championship Hunt will begin on Saturday May 4th with the official Season Opener and the fastest cars on dirt, the Winged Sprint Cars will come back to town on Saturday May 11th. Kids Night presented by Ashley Tackett Racing will be on Saturday June 1st followed by the Night of Destruction on June 8th! Night of Destruction is just what it sounds like, a night full of nothing but smashing and crashing with School Bus racing and Figure 8 Racing at its center!

The mega tradition of the Firestorm returns with a Dueling Fireworks show on Wednesday July 3rd. Annually the largest event of the year, the pyro budget has once again been raised to bring another level of awe to those in attendance! The Late Models will return for the $3,000 to win Late Model Barn Burner on Friday August 2nd in which the big boys of local Late Model racing will be in the house!

Possibly the most unique event of the season returns on August 17th, the OXCR Dirt Bike and Quads will race through the woods, fields and creek surrounding the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex. A full day of racing can be enjoyed for just $15 from the 8AM Start of the OXCR Racing to the end of the Auto Racing that night! Locals are encouraged to bring their bikes and quads to test their skills.

The 2019 Championship in each class will be determined on Saturday October 5th during Night of Champions IV. The top 4 in championship standings coming into this event will be set equal with the highest finisher taking the Championship Title. The season will then come to a close with the final event of the year on Saturday November 2nd, the Fall FunDay!
