FASTRAK NE Tour returns to Raceway 7 this Friday

Conneaut, OH, (August 6, 2013): The FASTRAK Northeast Touring Sries will visit Raceway 7 for the third time this season Friday with previous winner Dave Airgoood and Wayne Robertson expected to be leading the way. Of course, they will have to contend with the all-time leading Raceway 7 FASTRAK winner Max Blair, who is also the defending national champion.
In the local Evergreen Lake Park Campground FASTRAK Late Model weekly points Chad Wight, a four time winner this season, leads the way with a huge 177-point margin over second-running Jamie Brown , winless this far this season. Third at this time is Dave Airgood, a previous tour winner, only 11-points out of the runner-up spot. Fending champion Max Blair is a further 59 markers back in fourth.
Zimmer Service Center E-Mods point’s leader Joel Watson looks to be on his way to another championship with a current lead of 57 points over Mike Potosky. Gary Eicher sits third at this time, 79 points back of second, with 2009 champion Percy McDonald only another 17 points back.
The Western Reserve Animal Clinic Street Stock championship standing have former champion Chris Withers leading the way with a 103 point advantage over former champion Ed Bolyard. Eric Reinwald, who won his first ever feature event earlier this season, rides third, 108 points in arrears of Bolyard. Darrin Hyde is fourth.
Brian Hathaway leads the McDonalds Meat Economods with a 72 point margin over the veteran driver Chuck Steinle Sr. Kyle Fellows and Russ Kapalan are tied for third, 21 points out of second place.
The Specialty Products Mini Stocks are being led by Brad Cole, with a slim seven-point advantage over second running Dale Fraschetti, a rookie. Cole has two wins on the year while Fraschetti, with four heat race wins, has yet to break into the feature race Victory Lane. Bud Sergeff the reigning champion, now is third after returning to the Winner’s Circle last Friay night. Jason Easler is currently fourth with one win on the season.
Weather permitting, gates open every Friday at 5:30 PM with pill draw cut off at 7 PM and racing at 7:30 PM. VIP suites are available for rental for $250 a night which includes eight general admissions passes. Admission is set for $10 for adults for this tour event, kids 7-14 are $5.
