FAST & BOSS Both In Action July 7-8

A busy weekend ahead will find the Ti22 Performance FAST On Dirt tour in action Friday and Saturday night July 7 and 8 with the MPD Racing Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series joining in the fun on Saturday only. Friday night, things will kick off at Ohio Valley Speedway near Washington, West Virginia as FAST makes a triumphant return. Last season, in the tour’s first ever visit, a stellar field of 31-winged 410 sprint cars were on hand. A day later, the tour will move west an hour and a half to the high banked Atomic Speedway for the “K-C Classic” racing for $5,000 to win and $500 to start. The 2023 tour opener at Atomic found 39 winged carss in the pit area. The traditional BOSS wingless sprints will also be on the Atomic Speedway card Saturday.

On Friday at Ohio Valley, gates will open at 4 pm. Driver meeting will be at 6 pm with engine heat and hot laps following the mini wedge racing. Adult general admission is $20 with kids 10 and under free. Pit passes are $35 with kids 5 and under free in the pits. The 30-lap main event will pay the standard FAST purse as follows: 3000, 1500, 1000, 750, 650, 550, 500, 475, 450, 425, 400, 390, 380, 370, 360, 350, 350, 350, 350, 350. Heat races will also pay: 40, 30, 20, 10 thanks to NAPA Of Fremont, Mad Tree Brewing of Cincinnati, Indy Race Parts and Elite Wings USA. Hard Charger and Hard Luck $50 awards will be supplied by All Star Performance and FAST super fan Jason Imler.

On Saturday at Atomic Speedway, pit gates will open at 2 with general admission gates opening at 4. Hot laps will begin at 6 with racing at 7. Adult general admission is $20 with seniors and military tickets just $15. Pit passes are $35. Discounted tickets and other options are available on the track website at www.atomicspeedway.net and on MyRacePass. The K-C Classic main event for FAST will have a special purse as follows: 5000, 2200, 1100, 1000, 900, 800, 700, 650, 625,600, 550, 525, 520, 510, 500, 500, 500, 500, 500, 500. The same heat race cash and bonus awards will be supplied.

For BOSS at Atomic Speedway, the main event payoff will be the standard 2023 purse as follows: 2000, 1000, 750, 650, 550, 500, 450, 425, 400, 375, 350, 340, 330, 320, 310, 300, 300, 300, 300, 300. Heat race pay of 40, 30, 20, 10 will be provided by Mad Tree Brewing, Outsider’s Merchandise & Apparel and Elizabeth Gardner Photography. Bonus awards of $50 each will be supplied by E A Home Supply, Cowen Truck Line, All Pro Cylinder Heads and All Star Performance. The main event winner will also get a free tire thanks to Hoosier Tire Midwest.

For competing cars, all cars must run the yellow Westhold transponders. Drivers must have a working RaceCeiver radio in at all times cars are under power on the track. Cars must be on 4 corner Hoosier tires and the right rears can be the H15, Medium or D15A. For FAST only, the left rears must be the spec H12 or D12A. Cars do NOT have to run the same tire all night. Also, for FAST only, all wings must be flat top with maximum 2″ wickerbill.

There are no membership or entry fees at all with BOSS or FAST. No mufflers are necessary this weekend. Fuel and tires will be available at both tracks. Please call or text Aaron Fry at 740-703-3768 to reserve specific chalk marks or fuel amounts.
