Pot Of Gold 75 Kicks Off 2024 ULMS Season

The Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series starts their 24th season this Saturday March 16, 2024 at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PPMS) in Imperial, Pennsylvania for the first “Pot Of Gold – 75” and then travels East the following Friday March 22, 2024 to return to Williams Grove Speedway! The first visit for the series to the famed “Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile” since 2017 which saw Alex Ferree in Close Racing Supply Victory Lane.  Ferree will once again be attending this show as well and looking for not only his first win of 2024, but to go back to back at PPMS with the United Late Model Series.

The event will feature the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series, FAST 410 Sprint Cars, and the SCDRA Northeast Sport Compacts.  The Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series event will pay $4,000.00 to win and $500.00 to start.  Have hot laps, and utilize time trial qualifying with the Red AMB MYLAPS Transponders..  A Thirty-Lap (30) Main event will conclude the event for the United Late Model Series setting off the chase for the championship in 2024 and leaving one team $4,000.00 richer.  The event will see the pit gates open at 9:00AM and Hot-Laps beginning at 12:00PM.  Running order TBA.  The United Late Model Series will once again be utilizing their pre-race tech and conducting the annual safety inspection to each super late model entry.

Hoosier: NLMT#2, NLMT#2.25, NLMT#3, NLMT#4

American Racer: #44 or Harder (#44, #48, #53/#56, Pro2, Pro3, Pro4)

The Lindemuth Laser Etching United Late Model Series Elite Drivers Logan Zarin, Ryan Montgomery, Michael Lake, Dave Stamm, Colton Flinner, & Dylan Lewis will all look for their first win on the tour in 2024.  Zarin especially with home town advantage only grew up mere minutes from the speedway with their Moon Township based team.  The second generation driver to his father Jim Zarin looks to follow in his father’s footsteps picking up wins at their hometrack in their Rocket Chassis XR1’s.  The Montgomery & Suppa Motorsports entry will debut their brand Rocket Chassis XR1 with Ryan Montgomery behind the wheel.  Montgomery coming off a close second place finish in the 2023 Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series Championship Point Standings looks to increase that by one this year!

2023 Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series Champion, Chew on This – Jerky Rookie of the Year, and Lindemuth Laser Etching Fast Time Champion Tyler Emory who is currently undecided on 2024 plans will be in attendance.  The Cameron-Mann Motorsports entry #72 Rocket Chassis will look to start right where they left off in 2023 with that championship, several fast times and multiple wins on the tour.  “The Kid”, Drake Troutman will also be in attendance.  Troutman closed out the 2023 Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series season with his first win on the tour for the 2023 “Steel City Stampede” at Lernerville Speedway which paid him $4,000.00.  The now Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series (LOLMDS) regular will look to go back to back on victories with the tour as well.  In addition another current LOLMDS regular will be in attendance.  The current all time wins leader of the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series with 42 as well as the Four Time Consecutive Champion Max Blair plans on making his 2024 United Late Model Series debut in his #111 Longhorn Chassis on Bilstein Shocks for the Centerline Motorsports race team.  Other notables include the young and up an coming Levi Yetter with his #9 Barry Wright RaceCars Icon Racing Chassis, the #2J of Justin Weaver in his Walls Weaver Motorsports entry, the #24 Rocket Chassis of Dylan Yoder from Selinsgrove, PA, local star “The Crusher Kid” Michael Norris in the Todd Cerenzia owned #02 Rocket Chassis and many others.  

American Racer / Lias Tire will be at the track selling tires as well as stocking the United Late Model Series trailer to begin selling American Racers on the tour as well.  A dealer for Hoosier is expected to be at the track, but nothing confirmed as of today.
