(Carnesville, Georgia) – The Drivers, Teams and Officials of the FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series is set to kick-off the 2014 racing season in less than 3 days and counting at the Tyler County Speedway on April 18th. This is going to be a monumental event for the Tyler County Speedway and FASTRAK with the 1st ever Friday night race in the 40 year history of the ¼ mile nicknamed “The Bullring” in Middlebourne, West Virginia. The race is going to draw the “best of the best” in FASTRAK Pro Late Models to try and tame “The Bullring” for the 1st touring series visit of 2014. The event is scheduled to be a 30 Lap A-Main paying $1,500 to the winner. In addition to the A-Main there will be Hot Laps, Qualifying and Heat Races to set the 24 car field.

The Tyler County Speedway will definitely be a racing facility all driver’s of the FASTRAK Racing Series need to visit once or more in 2014. There will be another FASTRAK Northeast Touring event scheduled at Tyler County for Sunday August 3rd also. The famed ¼ mile promoted by John Watson will also be the host track for the Inaugural FASTRAK Race-Off Playoffs paying $10,000 to win on September 18,19,20. The race will pin the season’s best of FASTRAK for one big event in the Northeast Region competing for the quest at $50,000 if a driver can win all three big marquee events to close out the season. The way to qualify for the FASTRAK Race-Off Playoffs and the FASTRAK World Championships is to run the minimum of 12 races whether touring and/or weekly to be a part of FASTRAK’s version of Post-Season.

Owner/Promoter John Watson from Hometown Racing Association had the following comments to say about being joined with FASTRAK. “I was pleased with 2013 under the FASTRAK weekly program at Tyler County Speedway and now I can’t wait to see what 2014 has in store for us at “The Bullring”. The sky’s the limit with this ever popular growing series at FASTRAK. I’m so confident that we’ll bring in the Northeast drivers but we’ll also entice the Southeast drivers in 2014 to compete in our shows to allow great racing for our fans but more importantly to find out what “The Bullring” is all about before the September Northeast $10,000 to win Race-Off Playoff,” concluded Mr. Watson.

The 2014 racing season celebrating “The Bullring’s” 40th Anniversary is set to light the fuse this Saturday April 12th.
