(Middlebourne, West Virginia) – Officials from the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour are excited to announce a big return to the “Bullring” in 2015. The Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV will once again play host to the nation’s fastest growing touring series more than any other facility next season. Dubbed as the official home of the Renegades of Dirt, “The Bullring”, has provided the perfect venue for the tours side by side racing to thrive. The ¼ mile speedway located along the Middle Island just three miles outside the town features one of the most aggressive national schedules each season which includes the World of Outlaw Late Models on Memorial Day Weekend.

The Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour will enter the “The Bullring” on Friday April 17th for the 2nd Annual “Friday Night Lights” special at the speedway. Last season track officials made the decision to host a single day Friday show in April dubbed “Friday Night Lights” which also hosted the Renegades of Dirt, the successful results have led officials from each to repeat the event in 2015. The event will be the first to award “Northern Region” points for the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour so a packed pit area of modified aces is anticipated.

The Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour will then return the Tyler County Speedway on Memorial Day Weekend for the 4th Annual “Let It Ride 55”. The “Let It Ride 55” is an annual ‘crown jewel’ for the Renegades of Dirt boasting a small but prestigious past winners list. Established in 2012 as part of inaugural Renegade of Dirt Tour season featuring a $5,000 to win purse that saw fifty entries battle at the “Bullring” before Zanesville, OH’s Rick Aukland claimed the inaugural win, the “Let It Ride 55” immediately made its mark on modified racing. In 2013 the “Let It Ride 55” was back but it up’d the ante paying the second annual victor $7,555 to win which saw a tour record sixty entries in competition with Mooresville, NC’s Nick Hoffman taking the largest win of his successful career. In the 2014 running of the “LIR55” a new format greeted racers and the weekend was dominated by Kyle Strickler and Rich Michael until the finale when tour new comer and young modified phenom Tyler Nicely of Owensboro, KY broke out for his biggest career win, a $7,555 dollar payday with the weekend bounty also on the line.

In 2015 the “Let It Ride 55” is back at the “Bullring” and will once again be one of the most esteemed modified events in the country. The format for the event will remain very similar with the Renegades of Dirt battling it out on Saturday night May 23rd in a pair of $1,555 to win 25 lap twin features with the top six transferring from each into Sunday night’s finale. On Sunday May 24th racers will participate in an “Alphabet Soup” to qualify for the “Let It Ride 55” which stands to once again pay $5,555 to win. The famous ‘gamblers buy-in’ option is also back up for grabs with a twist, for just $55 dollars racers will have a shot at winning one of three additional $555 prizes (top three finishers). Furthermore, the Renegades of Dirt will return for the biggest event in Eastern Dirt Modified history and one of the biggest events in the entire country for dirt modifieds on July 9th – 11th, 2015! The Renegades of Dirt and Tyler County Speedway will host the inaugural “Modified MEGA 100” paying $12,000 to win with one of the most lucrative payouts ever featuring over $80,000 dollars in modified purse up for grabs. Thirty cars are guaranteed $1,200 just to start with a unique three wide start! The event also features a unique format because of it’s ability to provide a lot of passing. On Friday night Renegade of Dirt Modifieds will compete in two sets of heat races lined up by their random pill draw. If a driver starts on the pole of their first heat, they will start on the tail of their second heat, and vice versa with all positions. Each driver’s finish in their two heat races, with Passing Points added in, will be tallied and used to line up Saturday’s Feature and B-Mains. Race fans will witness sixteen intense heat races where racers will vie for lucrative passing points to lock into Saturday’s 100 lap main event. Lastly the Renegades of Dirt will tackle the “Bullring” for the final time in 2015 with yet another prestigious dirt modified event. On Sunday night August 2nd racers will duel for the “Dickson Classic” and a $1,500 to win payout. The longest running modified race on the Renegades of Dirt schedule will showcase “The Beast of the East” for the fourth season in a row in the events eleven year history. In 2014 Jacob Hawkins inked his place on the past winners list holding off a hard charging Taylor Cook of Stanley, NC.
