Showdown At The Creek Now Set To Prelude ASCoC Event At Atomic

(Peebles, OH) The 2nd Annual Showdown at the Creek will now be a single day event featuring the OVSCA 410 Winged Sprint Cars which preludes a new event the following night at Atomic Speedway! Brushcreek Motorsports Complex officials have decided to reduce the event down to one day on Friday September 25th to work with the Chillicothe, OH track as they add an All Star Circuit of Champions show on Saturday Night. Both venues will be working together to make this weekend Sprint Car Fan Heaven in the Southern Ohio area.

The Showdown has been redesigned to be a precursor to Atomic Speedway’s ASCoC event on Saturday September 26th. “We hope to see many of the same faces both nights and make this an exciting yet easy travel weekend for teams and fans” Says Promoter Steven Partin “This should give fans the perfect mixture of close to home ‘weekly racing’ with the star power we always expect from large events”. Dale Blaney picked up the 1st Showdown at the Creek in 2014.

The $2,500 to win show will be 30 Laps in distance. Nathan Skaggs and Cody Kinser have already picked up wins with the OVSCA at Brushcreek this season. Each will be gunning for the top prize in September. The Showdown will mark the final of three 410 Winged Sprint car events of 2015. On Showdown Day Pit Gates will open at 4:00 PM and General Admission will open at 5:00 PM. Driver Sign In Ends and the Drivers Meeting begins at 6:30 PM with Hot Laps and Fire Engines starting at 7:00 PM. Pit Passes will cost $30 for All Ages and General Admission tickets are $15 for Adults with Kids 12 and Under Being free.
