Conneaut, OH (August 11, 2015): the Evergreen Lake Park Campground CARS Crate Late Models take center stage this week at Raceway 7 as the season draws toward its end for 2015.

With only three race nights remaining 2013 champion Chad Wright has dominated the Winner’s Circle, making eight visits this season, including last week when the apparent winner turned up light at the scales in post-race inspection. 64-points is the margin over 2009 champion Dennis Lunger, winner of three features this year. Defending champion Kyle Zimmerman, a single-time feature winner this year, is third, another 65 markers behind Lunger.

After an amazingly close finish of 1/1000 of a second in the Bob & Jackie Vogt Memorial last week for his fourth win of the season, Percy McDonald, the 2009 champion, now leads the Bonnell Collision Center E-Mod race toward the championship by 76-points. With 75 being the maximum available on any given night, McDonald could take a night off and still be the leader. Ken Zimmer, a three-time winner this season, is second and holds a 79-point advantage over third-running Brent Rhebergen, also a three-time feature winner this season.

Shaun Fawcett is having an exemplary year, securing four feature wins toward building an impressive 108 point margin over second-running Chris Withers, the defending champion, but so far, shut out of Victory Lane this summer here at Raceway 7. Ed Bolyard, a four-time winner this season, is currently third, 41-points behind Withers.

Rick Prosser has three feature wins and an amazing eleven heat wins in fourteen events this summer and leads defending Bonnell Auto Sales Economods champion by 56-points heading into the homestretch. Ferry has six wins this season but had a string of poor finishes with mechanical ails earlier in the season so is faced with the task of making up lost distance. Eric Reinwald has yet to drive into Victory Lane but consistency has rewarded him with third in the standings.

The closest points race this season is in the Specialty Products Mini-Stocks where 2012 champion Bud Sergeff took over the front spot with his fifth feature win last week and now leads 2013 champion Brad Cole by a mere two points. Cole has two feature wins on the season. Jason Easler, also with two feature wins, is third, 69-points behind Cole.
