OVSCA To Invade Ohio Valley Speedway

Parkersburg, WV-ThisSaturday marks the first of six events featuring the Ohio Valley Sprint Cars tobe held at the Ohio Valley Speedway in Lubeck, WV. As a driver favorite, Ohio Valleyalways packs the pits with their regular weekly classes and a full field ofsprint cars. Ohio Valley Speedway sets between the ridges of the West Virginia terrainand makes for the perfect tacky racing surface. The long stretches and paperclip-like turns make for excitement upon exiting and require flawless executionfrom the drivers. The sprints provide top notch thrilling action at Ohio Valleyand usually fans can catch multiple rim-riding wheelies. Along with the AMRALate Models and Modifieds, Pure Stocks, 4-Cylinders and Mini-Wedges, the OhioValley Sprint Cars are excited to be included in this weekend’s program.

Ohio Valley Speedway owners, Everett and DonnaVincent and promoter, Wayne McPeek, have all been hard at work over the lastfew years to constantly upgrade and improve the facility. In addition to therecent expansion of pit parking and new fencing, the track has installedadditional lighting to the corners and back-stretch of the track. The fans havepraised the end result, and drivers have been more than pleased with theimprovements!

Between 2010 and 2012, some of the mostexciting races of the entire Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association’s schedule cameat Ohio Valley Speedway.  We have seenmultiple winners, hard chargers putting up over 15 passes for position changesand an incredible number of race leaders. Lap traffic gets thick and thepassing gets tight. This weekend’s event is expected to provide nothing lessthan the action-packed norm.
