Legendary Hilltop “Frostbuster” Set For Friday March 25th

(Marietta, Ohio)

The staff at Legendary Hilltop Speedway has made the decision to move forward with the highly anticipated 3rd Annual Frostbuster Special event on Friday night (March 25th). The popular event which is highlighted by a $2,000 to win Late Model feature along with a $1,000 to win Modified race and racing in all other regular classes, will kick off the 2016 season for Legendary Hilltop. With many tracks across the region not yet open, Friday night’s “Frostbuster” is expected to draw a field of regional stars and local favorites for a star studded season opener!

With a “frosty” temperature forecasted for the event, track officials evaluated all options but in consideration to other events across the region along with the Easter Weekend, the decision to hold the event this Friday was made. In consideration to many fan’s concerns, the track staff PROMISES to have Mini Wedges on the track BEFORE 7 PM and will run the show in the most efficient manner possible. As fans have become accustomed to, the track staff will have numerous bonfires throughout the facility burning in order to provide a little warmth for those who come out for the sure to be eventful night of racing!

Following 2 very successful “open practices” in the past two weeks that saw tremendous crowd and car support, 2016 looks to be an exciting season for the track located just outside of Marietta Ohio. The season, which will get kicked all off by the Frostbuster event, is undoubtedly the tracks most ambitious schedule to date and comes with a great deal of anticipation. Over the winter, track officials added over 200 seats along with a brand new timing and scoring system, along with other facility improvements including guardrail and electrical work that will continue into the spring months.
