Princeton Speedway Is Set For A Strong 2018 Season

2 min read

In 2018 Princeton Speedway is set to continue a strong building process it has started the past few years. The biggest announcement for 2018 we have to make is the joining of The Capitol Renegade United Sprint Cars to our schedule for one race in May. For the first time in history Princeton Speedway will host the oldest sprint car club in the country for a race paying $2,000 to win and $450 to start.

Another big announcement for the 2018 season is the joining of Princeton Speedway with SECA for the 602 Modified division. This is a division we started at Princeton last year and are determined to build the class into a strong competitive class at the speedway and we believe a partnership with SECA will help us do that.

The next addition to this year at Princeton Speedway is the return of the Outlaw Modified Street division or, “Ground Pounders,” as our friend the late Tim Howard called them. This is the class Princeton Speedway was built on over the years and it will make it’s return to the speedway in 2018.

We will continue also running normal classes in addition to the above mentioned ones including: AMRA Open Wheel Modifieds, FASTRAK Pro Late Models, Pro Minis, and Mini Wedges. Returning annual races for the speedway include the: 8th Annual UBB 29 Miners Memorial Race with the UBB Qualifier, The AMRA Modified Freedom 30, and the second leg of the FASTARK Triple Crown. In addition the Mid-East Modified Tour which ran it’s first ever race at Princeton Speedway in 2017 will return for two shows this year paying $600 to win.

There are also a lot of things in the works for children that will go on throughout the season including: Autograph Night, Kid’s Bike Races, a Coloring Contest, and much, much more for the children!

Join us on a weekly basis for great family fun! General admission on regular shows will only be $12 and special shows will be $20 with kids 10 and under always free in the general admission area. The pits will be $30. We’ll see you at the track in 2018!
